We wanted to provide you with a brief checklist of technical tips to make sure you can attend the sessions comfortably on the day.
Please take the time to complete the first four steps listed below well in advance of your sessions. This will give you time to troubleshoot with IT if any issues arise.
WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO THE FOLLOWING AS SOON AS YOU CAN:
1. Have your COPP username and password on hand as you will need this to access the Intensive site on the day.
2. Download and install Microsoft Teams and log into Teams using your COPP username and password. If you’re planning to join via an iOS or Android device, please make sure to download Microsoft Teams from App Store or Google Play Store.
3. Double-check that you can successfully log into Teams using your COPP username and password as this will be important for facilitating the sessions.
4. Check that you can use the functions needed to conduct your workshops via Teams. The two most typical functions are screen sharing and breakout rooms.
During the Sessions, We also recommend: 1. Turning on your webcam during the session, and testing that your webcam and audio is working correctly prior to the session. 2. Quitting all other programs on your system to avoid inteference, especially if you have an older computer or device.
If you have any trouble completing any of the steps above or if you have any other related technical questions, please contact [email protected] for assistance.
